 Our sweet baby Lydia is usually full of smiles for anyone who will stop and 'chat' with her <3
I am so thankful for my swing! This little girl likes to be moving almost all the time and she's getting fairly hard to take out to a place where we just sit. She wants to be moving either in the van, or in the stroller, or sometimes rocking in her carseat will suffice.

Bubbles!!! Who doesn't love them?
This bubble machine is very effective in filling the yard with bubbles quite quickly. So quickly that we cut off every second bubble blower stick so we wouldn't go through quite as much bubble solution.  :-P

Dylan's 3rd Birthday!

Today is Dylan's 3rd Birthday! Dylan started off the day with a Banana... he didn't want a card or presents till he had a banana, then with some food in his stomach he could then open presents from Dad, Mom, Miriam and Lydia.




At lunch time Miriam and I sang happy birthday and we had cake...


Dylan was a little scared of the sparkler candles at first :-)





I only caught his mouth... he had to stand up to take a deeeep breath to blow out the candles <3 Cutie!



And a completely unrelated picture... Dylan has been taking care of 3 babies lately, putting them to bed, nursing them, (he uses a childs U shaped travel pillow as a nursing pillow, haha kinda cute.) and now they needed to use the swing "shh Mommy, my babies are sweeping!"
At least I know that if I ever have triplets they can all fit in the one swing...jk

A Few Pictures.

Matthew Digging up a spot in the yard so I can have a small veggi garden :-) Yay!!




Some of the veggies and herbs I plan to grow. The veggie's will go in the little garden and the herbs will go in pots around the yard. I also hope to grow a bunch of tomato's in the garden I had sunflowers in last year. I'll have to buy the plants though because I was a bit busy at the beginning of this year and never got around to starting them inside.

Spring Snow

Miriam and Dylan are pretty excited and now that the wind has died down a bit, I'm pretty sure they will have a blast playing in all the snow this afternoon!

Time flies!

Lydia sleeping in her big crib for the first time <3
She has been sleeping in her bassinet at night and in her chair or swing for naps. Now, because she is a month old and wanting to nap for longer periods, I'm putting her in her big crib to nap :-) Hopefully in a month or so she'll be sleeping in her room at nights as well.
My baby is looking less and less like a newborn and more and more like a big baby :-(
Time flies!

Lydia and I went to the dr. yesterday and she gained 1oz short of a lb in 10 days - about double what she was gaining. :-) No more worrying about her weight - turns out it was just a foremilk, hindmilk imbalance. :-) I'm glad we have that figured out. Now we are battling thrush... :-P
